The Rising Voices Canada Mentorship Program is a career accelerator for emerging Canadian Black, Indigenous and Persons of Colour (BIPOC) filmmakers offering them tangible skills, resources and networks to build their careers in film.

Now in its second year, this program aims to provide industry access to mid-career individuals and pairs seven participants with advocates from the industry to help advance their careers with shadowing and observational placements focusing on project development, organizational governance, and peer-to-peer mentorship.

The BIPOC TV & Film Festival and Market Access Initiative aims to increase the presence and success of diverse creators at industry events across Canada and internationally.

Developed in partnership with Bell Media, the Unscripted Producers Lab is an intensive introduction to unscripted, factual and reality series production. Following the lab, participants will be matched with an industry mentor for continued support and career guidance.
