Advocacy plays a key role in the work that happens at BIPOC TV & Film, and we want you involved!
Join us virtually on Saturday, October 21 from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m (EST) for an open, round-table conversation to share our thoughts, reflect on our goals and have a cohesive gameplan for the CRTC hearings.
Informed community members are welcome to join. In pivotal moments such as these hearings, having a united front is critical in ensuring that we are truly heard.

In November, BIPOC TV & Film along with our partner organizations will be heading to Gatineau, QC to participate in the public hearings, and to make sure that the needs of the BIPOC TV & Film community are addressed and fulfilled.
The Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), the organization responsible for overseeing TV and radio in Canada, announced earlier this year their Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2023 - 138(-1). This announcement is meant to promote the participation and input of Canadian people, communities and organizations in the discussion around improving TV and radio services in the country when it comes to access to and support of Canadian programming and initiatives.
