BIPOC TV & FILM is a national movement championing and advocating for Black People, Indigenous People, and People of Colour working, creating and leading in Canada’s film and television industry. For 10 years, BIPOC TV & FILM has been a vocal advocate for representation in front and behind the camera, racial equity and justice in the TV and film industry. We are passionate about the advancement and empowerment of Indigenous, Black and People of Colour in the industry – from aspiring to emerging to established professionals.

Over the years, BIPOC TV & FILM has grown from being a 100% volunteer-run grassroots collective, to a registered non-profit in 2020. We hired our first Executive Director in January 2021!
